Hi Reader,

New clubs aren’t cheap—so if you’re thinking about upgrading ahead of the season, let’s make sure you don’t waste your money on the wrong ones.

After going through eight different club fittings across six different venues over several months, I’ve made a few mistakes—but I’ve also learned some critical lessons that could save you time, money, and strokes on the course.

🚨 Here are some of the biggest takeaways from my fittings::

🔹 Your irons might not be too old, but they might be too heavy.

  • My 20-year-old irons performed as well as modern models - but my shafts were too heavy, costing me consistency and distance. Here's what I learned →

🔹 Fittings mixed with a lessons can make a BIG difference!

  • Lowering my driver loft from 10.5° to 8° AND fixing my attack angle added 40+ yards - without swinging harder! See how it worked →

🔹 Not all fittings are created equal!

  • Some fitters are brand-biased, while others don’t even offer the best option for many golfers - custom fitting your existing clubs! How to find the right one →

🔹 Fitting fees range from $0 to $500 (£385) - but here’s how to save money.

🔹 How do you know when to replace your clubs?
